Questions?

F.A.Q.

How do we book you?

Send me an email, and we’ll discuss my availability and what package would be best for you. Once those details are finalized, a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your date on my calendar. The remaining amount is due 1-week before your session.

How is payment done?

Online credit/debit card payments can be done online via my secure invoicing system. You also have the option to pay via Venmo to @chantellrae or mail in a check.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking, and the remaining amount is due no later than 1-week before your session.

How many images do we receive?

I don’t believe in overwhelming you with an insane amount of photos, but I also don’t hold back on delivering the good stuff. I curate my client galleries to have variety but also a couple of different angles of the same pose or thing because having options is great.

Basically, about 10-50 images per hour of coverage.

What is your turnaround?

It will take me anywhere between 2-4 weeks to meticulously edit and deliver your photos. I PROMISE it doesn’t take longer than that, and you can hold me to the contract that we both sign. I know that can seem like a really long time, but I DO send out a sneak peek gallery of about 10 photos within a few days of your session so you have something to post right away! I also do my best to deliver our gallery as soon as I can.

If you need the photos sooner, I offer the following rush fees: 1-week turnaround for $50, 2-day turnaround for $100, and next-day turnaround for $500.

What do we wear!?

I love simplicity, and will always err to “less is more” with colors and patterns. If you want to achieve those photos that are similar to my aesthetic, neutrals are the way to go. Choosing complimenting colors that matches the park we’ll be shooting at is a good idea too. Avoid colors or patterns that are SUPER vibrant, as they tend to reflect and cause heavy color-casting. And if you want to be more eco-friendly… avoid buying new! Here’s an incredibly informative blog that helps you search for vintage Disney tees online.

Once booking with me, I will also send you a styling guide with photos to inspire you and help you pick your outfits.

I’ve never been to Disney. Do you help us plan our session?

Absolutely! Even if you’ve been to Disney countless times, there actually may be a few spots that you may have overlooked or don’t know about that I’ve seen or found just by wandering around with my photographer's POV.

I’ll send over a questionnaire of what your hopes and expectations are for your session, and I help develop a rough timeline for us to follow to make the best use of our time. But don’t worry, it’s just a guide. We’ll go with the flow the day of your session and have tons of fun!

Can we post our photos online?

OF COURSE. ♡ You’re welcome to post your photos wherever you like. I do ask that when posting, you 1. either tag or credit me in the caption, and 2. don’t edit or enhance the photos in any way.

Can you fix this in Photoshop?

I edit is very minimally. I’ll adjust exposure for consistency, shift the colors and tones to my style of editing, but I want to keep things as true to life as possible. With posing, angles, and the lenses I use, I work to photograph you in the most flattering way. Life is imperfect, and that’s beautiful. You’re beautiful. However, pimples suck, and obvious blemishes will be taken care of.

Any extensive photoshop editing (fixing up hair roots, removing facial hair, changing lip/makeup color, tattoo removals, etc.) that you request will be $10-25 per photo. Please plan accordingly so we can avoid this.

Do you work officially with Disney?

Nope! I am a solo-owned business. Everything is through me. So I’m basically just your Disney bestie just hanging out with you at the parks and taking pictures. ;-)
